I’m a BACP registered integrative therapist and counsellor, working in person in Haggerston, Hackney, and online via Zoom.
Working integratively means I am able to incorporate a range of different theories and approaches which allows us the freedom to work in a way that feels most comfortable and is most effective for you.
We will work confidentially at a pace that feels right for you and build an authentic, mutually respectful relationship within which you can explore aspects of yourself you may not feel comfortable or safe sharing with others.

My working model is grounded in humanistic and psychodynamic theory, which means when you feel ready, we’ll explore both current and past experiences with a view to creating long-lasting, positive and sustainable change.
Therapy is a unique space, a space that’s yours, protected from the pressures of daily life and the complexity of personal relationships.

The therapeutic relationship offers a different kind of connection. It is a professional relationship with clear boundaries, designed to create a space where the focus can remain on you and your experience.
Unlike relationships in everyday life, there is no expectation for you to take care of the therapist’s needs. This can provide you with greater freedom to speak openly, explore difficult thoughts and feelings, and understand yourself more deeply without worrying about feeling judged, misunderstood or about the possible impact of what you share.
Prior to establishing my therapeutic practice, I spent over a decade working in the creative industries. This experience gave me a deep, personal understanding of the pressures that can accompany demanding and ambitious professional lives, including the expectation to perform, adapt and continue functioning even during periods of uncertainty or strain. At times, this can come at the expense of an individual’s own wellbeing and can increase the risk of burnout.
This experience has deepened my interest in people, creativity and the ways in which we make sense of our experiences. These perspectives continue to inform the reflective and collaborative approach that underpins my therapeutic work.
…is an important part of the therapeutic process, and reflecting on your experience of our work together is an important part of therapy itself. We will have regular check-ins to talk about how you are finding the sessions and to give you space to raise anything you would like to approach differently, including things that may otherwise feel difficult to bring up.
Therapy can involve sharing parts of yourself that feel vulnerable, so it is important that you feel respected, understood and able to be yourself. It can take time to know whether a therapist feels right for you, and I encourage you to pay attention not only to what we discuss, but also to how you experience the relationship between us.
When we first meet, we’ll spend a little time going through the therapeutic agreement, which I will have sent to you in advance. This provides you with the opportunity to ask any questions, and we can make sure everything feels clear.
From there, we can begin wherever feels right for you. I may ask what has brought you to therapy at this time and invite you to share a little about your background, but there is no expectation that you tell me everything at once. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable for you, allowing the conversation to unfold naturally and giving us time to begin understanding what you would like from therapy.

My training is grounded in Humanistic Integrative Therapy, in which I hold an Advanced Diploma from CPPD in North London. I have also received specialist training in Couples Counselling and Psychotherapy from Tavistock Relationships London, and hold a Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust.
Alongside my core training, I have undertaken further study in a range of areas including trauma, suicide, eating disorders, time-limited counselling, neuroscience, psychiatry, psychopathology and psychodynamics, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
This breadth of training allows me to draw on a range of perspectives while remaining responsive to each individual and their particular needs.
Beginning or restarting therapy or counselling can be daunting, and choosing the right therapist can feel overwhelming.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation via Zoom for you to ask any questions you may have and for you to get a sense of how we might work together.
If you feel ready to get in touch you can either complete the form on this page or reach out via any of the contact details below.
